McGill AirClean's acid gas control systems use a variety of chemical reactions to convert acid gas to particulate.

McGill AirClean Acid Gas Control SystemsWe have patented acid gas treatment and experience controlling acid gases such as sulfur oxides, hydrogen chloride, hydrogen flouride, and boric acid. Our acid gas scrubbers provide high-efficiency acid gas removal, even for processes with large volume flows. They are designed to distribute reagent evenly throughout the scrubbing chamber and maximize reaction time for high levels of acid gas removal.

We offer both spray-dry scrubbers and dry reagent injection systems. Our dry reagent injection systems provide an economical way to inject a reagent directly into the system upstream of particulate control equipment. Reagents include dry hydrated lime, lime slurry, sodium-based solution, trona, sodium bicarbonate, actived carbon slurry, and powdered activated carbon

We can supply a comprehensive emission control system that includes a spray-dry scrubber or dry reagent injection system to convert acid gas to solid particulate and an ESP or fabric filter to collect the particulate. The collected material is a dry solid. Which is easier to dispose of than wet effluent.
